The White Home roasted automobile salesman and Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) for grousing about President Joe Biden’s efforts to offer pupil debt reduction, even after the lawmaker had $1 million in authorities loans forgiven.
On Thursday, Kelly took to X/Twitter to object to Biden’s cancelation of $9 billion in pupil mortgage debt for 125,000 debtors.
“No pupil mortgage is forgiven,” Kelly tweeted. “The debt is simply transferred onto the backs of the American taxpayers.”
The tweet caught the eye of the White Home X/Twitter account.
“Congressional Republican math is complaining about pupil debt reduction whereas having $987,237 of your personal PPP loans forgiven,” the White Home wrote.
Imagine it or not, it was the second time the White Home dragged Kelly over his place on pupil debt forgiveness. In August 2022, he fired off an identical tweet.
“Asking plumbers and carpenters to repay the loans of Wall Avenue advisors and attorneys isn’t simply unfair,” Kelly mentioned. “It’s additionally unhealthy coverage.”
The White Home had a terser response on the time.
