CEDAR RAPIDS — U.S. Marshals, together with the Cedar Rapids Police Division, arrested an Ohio man needed in a deadly capturing that occurred in a newspaper’s parking zone in Elyria, Ohio.
Antoine Darnell Julis Richardson, 25, of Lorain, faces a first-degree homicide cost in reference to the deadly capturing of Isael Eduardo Rios on Sept. 2 within the parking zone of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram, based on the Chronicle-Telegram.
On Sept. 6, investigators with the Elyria Police Division contacted the U.S. Marshals requesting help within the location and apprehension of Richardson, based on a marshal’s information launch. After creating info indicating Richardson had fled the state, the marshals started coordinating efforts with different fugitive job forces exterior of Ohio.
In early October, investigators established a possible location for Richardson, and started coordinating with the marshal service within the Northern District of Iowa.
Thursday morning, marshals narrowed their search to an deal with within the 1200 block of twenty ninth Avenue NE in Cedar Rapids, the discharge states.
